Message Review

Words of Wisdom is a series where our elders share a biblical theme, topic, or truth that has profoundly impacted them, and one they believe will impact you as well. This week, Mitch taught us what it means to live a Spirit-filled life. Doing the right thing isn’t about willpower or good intentions but being led by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit empowers us to reject the desires of the flesh and instead bear fruit that reflects God’s character. The challenge? Don’t rely on past experiences or worldly wisdom—listen to the wisdom within and keep in step with the Spirit.

Main Point: Making good choices and doing the right thing is dependent on living a Spirt-filled life.

Scripture References: Galatians 5:16-17, 19-25; Romans 12:2; James 1:19-20; 2 Corinthians 5:17
