Message Review

The second practice for following Jesus’ example for ruthlessly eliminating hurry from our lives is simplicity. Simplicity is the intentional practice of arranging our lives around what matters most and removing what competes with it. In Jesus’s Parable of the Soils, Jesus warns life’s worries, and the deceit of wealth, can choke God’s word from our lives, preventing us from being fruitful. Simplicity creates margin so our souls can breathe, remain attentive to God, and bear fruit.

Main Point | To ruthlessly eliminate hurry we must arrange our lives around what matters most and remove what competes with it.

Focus Passages | Matthew 13:1-23
