Throughout our 9-week “FruitFULL” series, we’re examining the nine fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-24). This week we focused on Gentleness and discovered gentleness preserves what we treasure most: our relationships.

  • What were your initial thoughts or takeaways from the sermon, and why?

  • Do you associate the word “gentleness” with strength or weakness? Why?

  • In Galatians 5:22, the eighth fruit of the Spirit is gentleness (prautēs)

    • John gave the following definition of gentleness: “Gentleness is the Spirit-empowered strength to respond with restraint, even when we could assert power, for the good of others.”

      • What does this kind of gentleness practically look like in our day-to-day lives?
