June is a Month for Communion
Each trimester, we ask T-Life Groups to pause and share in something significant: communion. We encourage you to lead your group in communion during one of your small group times this month.
Communion isn’t just a ritual—it’s a moment to remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us. He denied Himself, took up the cross, and gave His life so we could live. As you lead your group, reflect on that truth together.
How to lead your group through communion:
Distribute a small cup of wine or juice and a piece of broken bread to each person, whatever works best for your group.
The Bread:
Read 1 Corinthians 11:23-24.
Say, “This represents Christ’s body broken for you.”
Then eat together.
The Cup:
After a moment, read 1 Corinthians 11:25-26.
Say, “This represents Christ’s blood shed for you.”
Then drink together.
Wrap up by asking:
“How is Jesus inviting you to deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him?”
There’s no “right” answer—just space for honest reflection. I’m praying for you and your group as you lead this meaningful time together.
