About the Group

We are a busy group of women of all ages who work full-time, but still want to experience community. We have young kids, grown kids and everything in between. On Thursdays, we will either bring a lunch or do a potluck, take a little extra PTO if needed and meet to discuss our lives, our faith journeys and how to grow closer to God. We support each other, pray for each other and look forward to growing together.

About the Leader

Lorrie: Hi! I’m Lorrie. I am originally from San Antonio, but my husband Andy and I have loved living in Omaha and raising our boys here since 2003. Connecting with people through conversation, food and laughter around our kitchen table is my favorite thing ever. I am a BIG-TIME movie fan, love to travel, and to quote Thomas Jefferson: “I could not live without books.” My heart's desire is to put Jesus above all else.

Tasha: Hi! I’m Tasha. I am wife to an amazing husband, Jamie, and we have 3 incredible, BUSY kids! We spend most of our free time sitting on bleachers cheering them on, driving them to their next activity, or hosting a group of their friends. In my free time I love to run, Peloton, bake, watch reality TV, and just be at home! My heart’s desire is authentic relationship with the Lord and courage to be used by Him wherever he might have me in this season of life.

What happens next if I join the group?

Once you register for the group (by clicking the “Join Group” button below), you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that we received your registration. In the next couple of days, your new group leader will reach out with some preliminary details about the location, time, and first group meeting.

At the first group meeting you’ll get to know others in your group and hear more about what to expect moving forward. If you decide the group is a good fit for you, great! If not, you can discretely let the group leader know and we’ll help you find a different group.

After a few months of being in the group you’ll have the opportunity to reevaluate if the group is a good fit for you and either continue with the group or step out of the group if desired. So by joining a group, you’re not making a long-term commitment.
