Each leader is committed to walking alongside your student, encouraging them in their faith, and creating a place where they belong. Kristi Sexton
About Me
Hi! I'm Kristi. I've been married to my husband, Dennis, for 27 years, and together we have four kids and an amazing daughter-in-law. I've worked in education for the past 15 years and recently started my own tutoring business. I also work as a trainer at my gym, so encouraging kids, students, and families is something I genuinely love. I've been part of Relevant for five years and am excited to spend this year investing in middle school girls. When I'm not working, you can usually find me reading, working out, or tackling a fun DIY project around the house.

Why I Lead
I love helping students grow in both their faith and their confidence. Middle school is such an important season, and I want every girl to know she has a safe place where she can belong, be encouraged, and grow into who God created her to be. My hope is that students leave our group knowing they are loved, valued, and capable of making a difference as they follow Jesus.

Savannah Johnson
About Me
Hi! I'm Savannah. I come from a family of five and have an identical twin sister and a younger brother. I work as a night shift nurse on the Cardiac Unit at Methodist Hospital, which keeps life exciting and ever-changing. When I'm not at work or at Rooted, you'll usually find me running, working out, reading, or enjoying a good movie or TV show. I've been part of Relevant for 3-4 years and love investing in students through Rooted. I'm currently training for my first full marathon after completing seven half marathons!

Why I Lead
Middle school leaders played a huge role in my own life, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to do the same for the next generation. My hope is that every girl who joins our group feels seen, known, loved, and supported. I want our group to be a place where students build meaningful friendships, grow deeper in their faith, and learn what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. It's such a blessing to walk alongside them and watch God work in their lives.

Jasye Morrison
About Me
Hi! I'm Jasye. I'm the oldest of three siblings, and family has always been a very important part of my life. I work as a nursing professor and love helping others learn and grow. At home, we're definitely a cat family with three orange cats named Sunflower, Oswald, and Mr. Meow. Life stays busy, but I enjoy finding new adventures and opportunities to challenge myself. When I'm not teaching or spending time with family, I love baking, cooking, crafting, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. I recently returned from an incredible two-week hiking adventure in Alaska and am always looking forward to the next adventure.

Why I Lead
One of my favorite things about serving in Rooted is watching students take ownership of their faith and grow into who God created them to be. I love walking alongside students as they ask questions, learn, and develop an independent relationship with Jesus. My hope is that every student experiences acceptance, support, and unconditional love while discovering they have a place to belong and people who genuinely care about them.

Madi Woodin
About Me
Hi! I'm Madi. I recently graduated from the University of South Dakota and currently work as an Insurance Data Analyst at National Indemnity. I've been part of Relevant for 13 years and love the community and relationships I've found here. Outside of work and Rooted, you'll usually find me on a volleyball court. I coach at Premier Nebraska Volleyball and love both playing and coaching the sport. I'm also a huge sports fan and enjoy spending time with friends and family whenever I can. Building relationships and investing in others has always been something I care deeply about.

Karis Kloster
About Me
Hi! I'm Karis. I have two brothers, one older and one younger, and I currently serve at Relevant as the Office Manager and Generosity Ministry Leader. I've attended Relevant for nearly four years and love being involved in several ministries, including Rooted and the Relevant Kids Production Team. One of my biggest passions is CAMP! I absolutely love investing in students and getting to experience all the excitement, fun, and life change that happens during camp. Outside of church, I enjoy thrifting, going on walks, cooking and baking, traveling, trying new foods, meeting new people, and watching movies with friends and family.

Why I Lead
I love getting to know middle school students and discovering the unique ways God has created each of them. As someone who grew up in a pastor's family, I know how important it is for students to develop a faith that is truly their own. My hope is to create a group where students feel safe asking questions, sharing openly, and being themselves. More than anything, I want every student to feel seen, known, loved, and supported as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
