About the Group
This group is open to adults: couples, singles, and everyone in between! Each week we eat a big dinner together from 6:30pm-7:00 pm and then gather for weekly discussion of our sermon series from 7 pm-8 pm. We will explore Scripture together, encourage each other around what God has laid on our hearts for the week, and we also spend time praying for each other. Join us for faith, fellowship, and fun! If you've never opened a Bible that's ok! We are all on the journey to explore this together!
About the Leaders
When we became a blended family to our three wonderful kids-Violet (14), Avaree (14) and Cooper (11) we knew we wanted our family to KNOW Jesus. Our family started attending Relevant on Christmas Eve of 2021 and we have never looked back! Jen serves as the Baptism Coordinator and Bill works at the Merch store. We both work for Medical Solutions: Bill as a Team Leader in Finance and Jen as a Nurse Recruiter. In our free time, we spend LOTS of time with kids' activities: Bill coaches Cooper in select baseball, Violet dances, and ice skates, and Avaree sings her heart out at show choir. When we aren't doing these things, we're likely visiting all the farms in Nebraska for sunflowers, apples, pumpkins, and Christmas trees!
What happens next if I join the group?
Once you register for the group (by clicking the “Join Group” button below), you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that we received your registration. In the next couple of days, your new group leader will reach out with some preliminary details about the location, time, and first group meeting.
At the first group meeting you’ll get to know others in your group and hear more about what to expect moving forward. If you decide the group is a good fit for you, great! If not, you can discretely let the group leader know and we’ll help you find a different group.
After a few months of being in the group you’ll have the opportunity to reevaluate if the group is a good fit for you and either continue with the group or step out of the group if desired. So by joining a group, you’re not making a long-term commitment.
