The purpose of the LDP is to produce, equip, and send the next generation with the leadership skills and principles to lead effectively within the local church.
The LDP is for young men and women (18-25 years of age) who wants to be a part of advancing God’s Kingdom through the local church. An LDP Staff is someone who wants to be equipped to influence others in being a part of Jesus’ mission. They are not just an intern. They are a leadership intern!
The Leadership Development Program
A 12-month program at Relevant Community Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska
Starts August 1st each year (applications accepted April 1st – May 15th)
20 total hours per week
17 hours per week of practical ministry experience within a specific ministry
2 hour per week of leadership development
1 hour per week of personal developmental coaching
Paid minimum wage for 20 hours a week

Sprouts Ministry (Birth – PreK)
Relevant Kids Ministry (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
Rooted Ministry (6th – 8th Grade)
Youth United Ministry (9th – 12th Grade)
