Spend your Wednesday lunch hour digging deep into the Bible. The Midweek Bible Study is a lecture-style, verse-by-verse study designed to help you grow in your knowledge, understanding, and application of the Bible. You can attend in person or via Zoom. 

UPCOMING STUDY: GENESIS

Our current study will begin on January 14, 2026 and will be doing an in-depth, verse-by-verse study of chapters 1-11 of the first book of the Bible, Genesis. The title of this book, in Hebrew is translated as “the book of Generations.” That is, it is a book of 11 “toldots” which are non other than historic records of 11 different families recorded by Moses him self in 1405-1445 BC while wondering in the desert with the the Israelites. The entire book can be broken up into two parts:
Chapter 1-11 = The beginning of all things
Chapter 12-50 = The beginning of the Jewish race and nation

We will be covering only the first half of the of the book which covers a large time span which includes incredible details about the origins of life as we know it. Genesis could be accurately referred to as “the book of firsts.” The first human beings, marriage, birth, death, lies, trials, murder, self defense, ownership of property, natural death, rainfall, boats, nations formed, cities built, calendars, God’s grace, and covenants.

You can join the class at any time, and even if you can’t attend each week, you are still invited to participate.
