How do you pray with someone to put their faith in Jesus?

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10.

  • CONFESS your need for a savior because of your violation against Holy Creator God.

  • DECLARE your trust in Jesus alone as the Savior because of His death and resurrection.

  • ASK Jesus to be the Forgiver of your sins (your savior) and the Leader of your life (your Lord).

Example Prayer

Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and that I need a savior. I realize that cannot do this on my own. I believe in you and in your death and resurrection and that you can be that savior. I am sorry for my sin, and I ask for your forgiveness. Will you be the forgiver of my sins, my savior, and the leader of my life, my Lord, from this day forward. Amen.
