Former Nebraska Head Volleyball Coach
This year, our featured speaker is former Nebraska Head Volleyball Coach John Cook. John Cook is one of the most accomplished and respected coaches in the history of college volleyball, building a legendary 32-year coaching career that included 25 seasons leading the University of Nebraska–Lincoln volleyball program. During his time at Nebraska, he led the Huskers to four national championships while compiling the highest winning percentage of any Division I volleyball program over the past 25 years. Cook has developed countless All-Americans, Olympians, and academic standouts while earning three AVCA National Coach of the Year awards and induction into the AVCA Hall of Fame.
Known for his "Dream Big" philosophy, Cook transformed Nebraska volleyball into the gold standard for the sport by expanding its national profile, growing fan engagement, and fostering a culture of sustained excellence. Today, Cook continues to invest in the future of volleyball as Co-Owner and General Manager of the Omaha Supernovas, bringing the same passion for leadership, innovation, and excellence that defined his coaching career.
